YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE LADY GAGA TO MAKE A FASHION STATEMENT

Ladies and fine gentlemen when i see some outfits and i think about the amount of effort and time that was put into it, it kinda makes me sad. You do not have to go all out or go all crazy just to make a fashion statement.  Making a fashion statement does not mean looking like you fell out of lady gaga’s closet [if you know what i mean] or looking like Halloween came earlier or later than usual.

“Tight”does not always mean sexy

Wearing tight fitting clothes does not make you sexy. You can wear a flowing dress, a loose top or pants and still feel and look sexy.” Tight” sometimes looks trashy [no offence]. This also does not mean that you should not wear well fitting clothes, just make sure that they are not in smaller sizes than you wear and they fit your body shape and type. Remember that tight clothes may bring out unnecessary bulges

BUYING A LIE FROM THE WHITE MARKET

After series of calls from readers in the international community to know the exact state of affairs as regards the recent developments in University of Nigeria, I have decided to respond thus.
Firstly, will like to thank all the readers of this blog for insisting they wont believe any reports they get about UNN if its not uploaded here. Your support has been the fulcrum  pivoting us. Thank you.
While we  at  gossip Lions we try to bring first hand reports of what is happening all around the world, we chose not to rush into hasty reportage. We consider it  sine-qua-non to be circumspect about the happenings in our world before hitting the media, having in mind the integrity our organization is known for. This is an imperative prophylactic against verbal diarrhea we seek to cure the media of.

Yes, the school authority introduced an impromptu mid-semester break. Yes our very own dear colleague lost her life and we sadly mourn and with heavy eyes and tears flowing out of our eyes like rivers into seas. We cant help but pray God grants her soul eternal rest.
She (Sylvia) was a very vibrant  300 level student of Veterinary Medicine and the callousness of the bad state of roads in Nigeria stole her away from us. What a loss!

However, the media has taken the turn of events lately to spread lots of funny information, polluting the minds of those who care to listen (or read).

Its TB Joshua again!!!

A huge birthday celebration is set to be held in South Africa on Friday 12th June as Prophet TB Joshua turns 52. An announcement posted on Joshua’s official Facebook page revealed that award-winning US Gospel Artist Vashawn Mitchell would be among those performing at the event. The Nigerian cleric’s popularity in Southern Africa has shown no signs of waning, despite the tragic building collapse that claimed the lives of 84 South Africans in his church last year.Indeed, family members of those who lost their lives and survivors of the incident are among those organising the celebration for Joshua, alongside ‘The SCOAN Family in Southern Africa’.Joshua has uncannily not appeared in public since his crusade in Mexico last month. It was announced on his Christian network Emmanuel TV yesterday that the cleric had arrived back in Nigeria over a week ago but was “waiting for God's command on what to do next”.Speculations are rife that Joshua may soon be leaving Nigerian shores on a more permanent basis, fuelled further by the message yesterday which stipulated no birthday celebration would be held within Nigeria.

UNN Makes History Again!!!

Honestly, I have never heard anywhere in the world where there is a mid-semester break for university students.
This however comes with great joy that the University of Nigeria Nsukka has once again set a ball rolling for other Nigerian universities.

Like every other medical students who have lots of stuff to read in a very short while, I had gone to bed around 3:30 pm today for my siesta so as so be full of life and energy when I hit the classroom at night for my regular night reading(TDB). All of a sudden, I could hear from my sleep, shouts of joy, guys screaming with great delight and zest. God bless the VC! God bless the VC!! I have been given two weeks to read and cover up on my academics!!! The noise was so disturbing, so I woke up. I thought it was a dream. It was hard to believe what  I heard. Two good weeks? Wow!!!

I headed to the notice board  reluctantly maybe I could see  any proof? Trust me, you seldom get an important information on the notice boards around the campus except for posters of church programs, student elections and burial ceremonies. I reached out to the university website and there was nothing to that effect as well. The only reliable means of getting genuine information on campus has become gossiplions.blogspot.com. So I picked up my phone to call some very important personalities at the office of the Vice Chancellor. The news was confirmed and I was astonished, and here I am delivering first hand report about the state of affairs of our very dear university.

This is to bring to the notice of all students and the entire university community that the university of Nigeria shall proceed on a two week mid-semester with immediate effect. Consequently all academic activities on the campuses have been suspended for the period. Students have been hereby directed to vacate their hostels not later than 6pm on Tuesday, 2nd June, 2016.

Just like other universities bought the idea of post UTME examinations which started here in our university, guess here is another lead for them to follow

Two week break no be small thing o.

Well, even if them extend am reach four weeks, na God win!!!
