Fashola unfolds 13-point agenda to revive power sector, promises improved power services



Minister of Power, Road and Works, Babatunde Fashola, has unveiled his 13-point agenda for the power sector in Nigeria. Fashola unveiled his plans during the maiden meeting he had with power generation, distribution and transmission companies, and other stakeholders in Abuja today January 11th.

Fashola in his address said the agenda involves continuous public engagement on tariff collection, debts, power generation, maintenance, ancillary services, dispatch orders and discipline, gas requirement and constraints, transmission constraints, 33KV load off take, imbalances-locations of excess, overload safety, service quality, new captive and embedded generation, franchising and other issues relevant to the growth of the sector.

He promised to work for a great improvement in pow‎er distribution.
